iSkoot Extends Kalaida Platform to Power T-Mobile Social Buzz

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – July 21, 2010 – It’s now easier for T-Mobile USA customers to stay connected to leading social media sites. iSkoot today announced that its Kalaida™ Platform has been expanded to support T-Mobile® Social Buzz. The application comes pre-equipped on select T-Mobile phones and once installed provides a live connection to top social media sites including Facebook, MySpace™, and Twitter®.

iSkoot’s cloud-based Kalaida Platform gives wireless operators and OEMs worldwide the ability to easily integrate leading web-based services into their consumer offerings. Kalaida concentrates processing in the network, allowing multiple services to remain active at once without impacting handset performance or battery life.

Installed on devices as a thin mobile client or an integrated, native utility, Kalaida can offer real-time notification of new mail, chat sessions, social network activity, and news items, even while users compose messages, check status updates, and chat with friends. All services are delivered over available data connections, without requiring 3G or Wi-Fi for optimal performance.

T-Mobile Social Buzz is currently available on the, Samsung :) ™ “Smiley,” Samsung Gravity® 3, Samsung Gravity® T, LG Sentio ™, and is expected to be available on LG dLite ™, coming this summer.
