CAMBRIDGE, MA November 20, 2006 iSkoot, the leading provider
of mobile Internet communications solutions announced today
the first carrier-grade Skype mobile solution for mobile phone

iSkoot's patent-pending platform will enable 3 X-Series customers

anywhere in the world, and to any other Skype 3 X-Series mobile
customer. iSkoot and 3 Group worked together to integrate iSkoot's
breakthrough proprietary technology into 3's high speed mobile
broadband network.
"Hutchison has an impressive track record as a technology
leader. Their 3 Group is widely recognized as the premier 3G
operator and has been delivering innovative internet mobile
and media solutions to enrich their customers' communications
lifestyles. No one is better at bringing breakthrough technology
to market, and this why 3 consistently deliver the benefits
of advanced solutions to their customers before anyone else,"
said Jacob Guedalia, CEO of iSkoot. "iSkoot presents a win-win
situation for mobile carriers. The iSkoot enabler platform
will mean that they can offer a solution for Skype Internet
calling without compromising the integrity of their networks.
iSkoot's mobile Skype technology is a key enabler of 3's vision
of bringing Internet services and pricing model to the mobile
phone user."
"iSkoot helped us deliver a breakthrough mobile solution that
frees Skype users from their PCs and allows them to use Skype
on their X-Series mobiles. With iSkoot enabler technology,
3 X-Series customers will be the first to be able to take Skype
wherever they go. The iSkoot-enabled platform is the only carrier-grade
product of its kind, and we are excited to use iSkoot to bring
Skype to our customers first. We have worked closely with iSkoot
to make sure that its integration into our network is transparent
and seamless," said Christian Salbaing, Managing Director,
European Telecommunications at 3 Group. "The iSkoot solution
allows us to be the first mobile broadband operator to make
Skype Internet calling ubiquitous, with superior voice quality
across the entire range of mobile handsets that support the
X-Series from 3. iSkoot will also provide future support for
our installed base of users."
The X-Series from 3, with iSkoot enabler technology , will
allow people to communicate in ways they have never been able
before using a mobile phone. The X-Series from 3 marks the
arrival of Skype Internet calling on mobile broadband. It will
extend all the functionality and usability of Skype to the
mobile handset. The first two handsets that will support the
new mobile Skype Internet calling are the Nokia N73 and the
Sony Ericsson W950.
