Download it directly from the AT&T MEdia Mall on your phone. You can get to the MEdia mall by:

OR
B) Opening your phone’s main menu, clicking on the browser icon labeled “MEdia Net” and selecting “Tones, Games, Apps” from the Categories list on the MEdia Net default homepage. Open “Cool Tools/Apps” and find Social Net under the “Social Networking” category.
8. How does the AT&T Social Net log in work?
It’s simple: the first time you launch Social Net, you’ll enter your phone number and then sign in to each of your services once. That’s it. After that, you’ll be signed in to all of your services automatically every time you launch Social Net.
You can change this setting if you want, though. Just open Social Net’s “More” menu and select “Manage Social Net.” Uncheck the box labeled “Sign Me in Automatically” to set the application to manual login. You can choose whether or not you want Social Net to save your user names by checking (or un-checking) “Remember Me.”
9. How do I navigate around AT&T Social Net?
At the top of the screen, you’ll see a row of icons displaying all of Social Net’s different services. This Carousel is what you’ll use to navigate from service to service.
For touch-screen phones:
Simply tap the icons in the Carousel to view the different services.
When you’re signed into the service, you’ll notice a set of tabs underneath the Carousel. The tabs are Social Net’s way of organizing all the content within your services. Just tap the tabs to view the different pages.
To navigate within the pages, swipe your finger to scroll up and down, right and left.
For non-touch-screen phones:
Using your phone’s five-way navigator, scroll to top of the screen to activate Carousel - all five icons will appear in color to indicate that you have activated it. Scroll left and right through the icons. As you scroll, you will move through Social Net’s different pages to view your services.
When you’re signed in to a service, you’ll notice a set of tabs underneath the Carousel. The tabs are Social Net’s handy way organizing all the content within your services. Scroll down to the tabs, and then navigate left and right to access the tabs within that service.
To return to the Carousel, scroll LEFT from the leftmost tab or RIGHT from rightmost tab. You can also just scroll up to the top of the page.
10. Are there any shortcuts that make navigating around AT&T Social Net easier?
YES!
For touch-screen phones:
Tap the icon of the service you have open–from virtually any screen in Social Net–and you’ll zip up to very top of the page.
For phones with standard key pads:
Press the * key from virtually any screen in Social Net, and you’ll pop back up to the Carousel.
Also, the “0″ key works like a “page down” button when you’re navigating through your Facebook feed, Twitter updates, News articles, etc.
For phones with QWERTY key pads:
Both the * key and the “q” key will take you immediately up to the Carousel.
Both the “0″ key and the space bar function as a “page down” button.
11. Can I leave AT&T Social Net running in the background while I use other features on my phone?
This capability varies by phone, but Social Net will certainly run in the background if your device allows for it.
Troubleshooting
12. AT&T Social Net tells me my user name/password is incorrect when I try to log into my services, but I KNOW they’re right. What’s going on?
VERY important - ALL passwords are case-sensitive. Some phones - like the Sony Ericsson W580i - will automatically capitalize the first letter in your password. Keep an eye out for that - and adjust the case as needed.
13. Sometimes when I’m using AT&T Social Net I suddenly end up in my phone’s internet browser. What’s going on, and how can I get back?
Don’t worry, it’s supposed to work this way (and whenever AT&T Social Net opens the browser, it asks your permission first). Some content requires that we go the browser - For example, for News feeds, Social Net shows you the news feed headlines and the first few lines of the story. To read the whole article, AT&T Social Net will launch the webpage where the article lives.
It works similarly for Facebook and MySpace. You can see status updates and news feeds, but to message friends, post to walls, and view photos from your feed, Social Net will launch the service in the phone’s web browser - and you may need to do a one-time sign in on the Facebook/MySpace wap site (you should only have to do once). You’ll also be taken to the Facebook/MySpace site to view your messages, wall posts and friend requests.
Once you’re done viewing the content, just close the browser (press your phone’s “back” key, red End key, or open the Options menu and select “Exit Browser”). You should return directly to the AT&T Social Net application.
14. The app just froze. Now what?
Hold down the “Back” or “End” key until you see an option to “End Application.” Exit out of the app and then restart. If that doesn’t work, then power your phone off and back on.
Security
15. What does AT&T Social Net do to protect my log in credentials?
Your password is entered and stored on your phone. When your password is sent to our server, we use SSL encryption for transport and we never store the password on the server.
16. What happens if I lose my device?
Just to be safe, you should reset all the passwords for the services you were using in AT&T Social Net.
